Unicom Starker's MARMOREA porcelain tile is a rediscovery of ancient Italian marbles: Carrara, Nero Marquinia, Biancone, Botticino, Rosso Verona, Verde Alpi & Bardiglio. As with ancient marbles, attention is given to the softness of the material and aesthetic result. The surface is imperceptibly ‘undulated’ to confer depth and realism, and with its non-glossy, silky finish, its colors come to life remarkably well when laid and in carefully studied contrasting pairings.
